According to sources, the assailants fired six shots near the office of Mr. Siddiqui's son Zeeshan at around 9.30 pm on Saturday, three of which hit 66-year-old Baba Siddiqui and one shot hit his colleague who was injured. Two persons involved in the incident have been arrested.
